Tutor - Robin Wu

Robin Wu is one of our Tutors at Paintbox and currently runs our Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media Course, Short Courses and Workshops.  He  trained at Camberwell, Central St Martins and and the Royal Drawing School.  He combines his 2 passions - food and art by working both as a Painter and Tutor, and Chef for renowned establishments in Edinburgh.

Come and celebrate the beauty of the garden in winter on this two day workshop. Weather is not an issue as the garden will be brought to you in the studio in all its winter glory - think of deep blue-green branches of fir & red berries, lush tangles of ivy, pine cones, lacy plant skeletons and much more!


Through a variety of methods and materials we will look at unexpected and fruitful ways into tackling these complex natural forms - thinking about how our chosen materials and ways of drawing and seeing can lead the creative process. We will build rich and layered mixed media works over the course of the weekend.
