Welcome to Home Studio - our hub for all online, pre-recorded courses. Here you will find a selection of online courses ranging from a day to a week in length (to complete) with a variety of subjects. Some of our one day courses were filmed in our first National Lockdown in 2020 and so have an 'at home' feel offering you the chance to spend a day try out new approaches and ways of thinking. Our week long modules have around 4 hours of recorded content that you can spread over a week, or longer if you wish!

MEMORYSCAPES 2 - GARDEN DIARIES

Taking a walk in the garden as a starting point, this course will focus on being present, being observant, and considering colour, feeling and movement. INTERIOR SPACES

From Kitchen cupboards, to stairways and attics, we will ask you to 're-look' at the space around you. Lighting and atmosphere are the focuses for this module, and so we will consider these elements in relation to colour and tone, while also exploring image format and composition. This course will take you from making small scale sketches, to tonal drawings, understanding and mixing colour all the way through to making a final painting.
