Lara Scouller is an award winning Scottish Artist, best known for her work from Museum collection taxidermy animals.  Her exquisite pastel drawings have taken her all over the world and her work is exhibited widely.

​Dive into the shoreline in mixed media over this 4 day workshop with Lara Scouller.

Natural materials foraged from the coast, including shells, skulls, feathers, seaweed and crustaceans, will be arranged by Lara to create a sense and feel of the shoreline. Participants will also be encouraged to contribute a relevant found  item big or small to be incorporated into  the  still life and there will also be an opportunity to work on location on the local coastline.

The wide variety of textures and  colours  that  make up the still life will  be explored through an exciting range of  mixed media processes, including such things as drypoint printing using recycled milk cartons.  

This course is suitable for anyone with a basic knowledge and enthusiasm for drawing and painting.
